As A Child

Matthew 19:13-14 says, “Then the little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them. For to such belongs to the Kingdom Of HEAVEN.’ He laid His hands on them and departed from there.”

I was in a service a couple of Wednesday nights ago, and during worship there was a little boy standing beside the Pastor on the front row! I looked down and there he stood with his little hands raised in the Presence Of The Lord!! My heart leaped on the inside of me with joy!! I don’t know about you, but I love seeing our little ones stand in His presence being touched by His hand! To me, I felt like I could actually see the Master with His hand on this young boy’s head!!

My grandson, Grayson, is 15 months old and when he’s in worship service he will dance to the music and now will lift his little hands to the Lord!! Yes he may be watching others and repeating what we’re doing, but to me it’s teaching him how to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit! The Word says to train them up in the way they should go, and when they are old they won’t depart from the ways of God. I want my grandson to know what it means to feel the presence of God.

God is passionate about encountering children; for so long children have been held back from the deep things of God. God longs to bring children into the fullness of who He is!!

If we all had the mentality of a child, (me included), I believe we would see more miracles today!! There would be many more souls won for the Kingdom of God! Why? Because a child just asks, believes, then proclaims it!! I desire that kind of faith in my life!!! Don’t You? As long as I seek Him, the measure of faith that He has already given to me will be elevated.

Let us seek God, the Presence of God, with a childlike faith! Let us Ask!! Believe!! And PROCLAIM it!!

How about you today, do you want to come to Him like a child would, with childlike faith!!! Have a great Sunday!!!

My Tip Of The Day:  Go to the house of the Lord expecting, but also go in with a grateful and giving heart!!
