Wow!! I’ve been awake since about 2:45! It’s those early mornings when I ask the Lord if He’s trying to talk to me, or did I just eat a greasy burger!! (Sometimes that happens!) But I finally got up and opened my Bible app, and did my daily devotion!! The Word is Him speaking to us, and it’s an awesome way to start our day!
The Lord has been speaking to my spirit a lot lately about Hope!!! Do you have hope in this world? 1Corinthians says, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.” In my Life Application Study Bible the commentary reads, “In Paul’s day Christianity brought a person persecution, ostracism from family, and in many cases poverty. There were few tangible benefits to being a Christian in that society. It was certainly not a step up the social or career ladder.”
I’m so thankful that Jesus, the Son of God, died for my sins, and rose on the third day so that I can have a HOPE that is out of this World!! I don’t want to serve a God that only allows me to have a hope in this world!!
Lamentations 3:21-22 says, “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.”
It is the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion fails not!! Aren’t you thankful for that?!? I love it!! I am so very thankful for the Hope I have in Him!! Listen y’all, this isn’t the end for us!! That’s why I can say, “Don’t put your faith and Hope in this world, instead, put your Faith and Hope in Him so you live in Freedom and eventually really live OUT OF THIS WORLD!!” I love the Old Song Cornerstone by Hillsong, the first verse says this, “My Hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and Righteousness, I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly trust is Jesus’ name.”
My Tip Of The Day: I challenge you to tell at least 5 people today “We Have A Hope”!
