I hope this New Year is finding you well, happy, and Blessed!! It’s already started out busy for me, but it’s a good kind of busy! I’m de-cluttering my house, doing some organizing and planning for the New Year!!
I know a lot of people have set New Year’s Resolutions and there is nothing wrong with that, but this year I didn’t. I just began to think about the things that I wanted to accomplish for myself, my family, and most of all my Spiritual well-being.
Many times when things get busy we tend to let our goals fall by the wayside, when they really should still come before anything or anyone else! I’m so guilty of this! 😬 Lord Forgive Me!!
But Not This Year!!
The Proverbs 31 woman should tell us something! She sets her house in order, in verse 27 it says, “she looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” That means she’s not lazy!
In verse 28 it says that “her children rise up and call her blessed; even her husband and he praises her!” I believe when we as women take pride in our homes and in our families that our Father is pleased with us!
As we begin 2020 just trying to to do better with all the things WE KNOW we should already be doing and enhancing those others, then everything (with the help of the Lord) will begin to fall into place. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t stretch ourselves and reach for the best, but how can we do those unrealistic things when we haven’t even started with what God has already given us to do?
So I challenge you (and myself) to start with one day at a time, one pile of papers at a time, one room at a time, JUST START SOMEWHERE! Set your sites and say to yourself, “With Gods help I can do this!”
“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]” Philippians 4:13 AMP
Next week I will post some pictures of my kitchen! I’m almost finished with it! I’m so excited to share it with you! Just Taking One Room At A Time!!
Tip Of The Day: You don’t have to decorate your home in new, expensive decor! Thrift Shops are the best place to shop after Christmas! I promise!! 😉
