Stop Chasing Happy!!

Hey ladies!! I hope your being blessed by our Heavenly Father, as you continue to grow in His presence!!

I’ve started reading the book of Ecclesiastes and I have challenged myself to get into deep Bible study with the small books of the Bible. So pray for me that I can do this!! 🙂

Ecclesiastes shows the paths in life that lead to emptiness and helps us discover true purpose in life. Solomon teaches that meaning in life is not found in knowledge, money, pleasure, work, or popularity. True satisfaction comes from knowing that what we are doing is part of God’s purpose for our lives.

This is a book which can help free us from our need for power, approval, and money, and draw us closer to God.

Many people feel restless and dissatisfied. They wonder 1. If I am in Gods will, then why am I so dissatisfied? 2. What is the meaning of life? 3. When I look back on it all, will I be happy with my accomplishments? 4. Why do I feel burned out, disillusioned, dry? 5. What is going to happen to me? Solomon tests our faith, he challenges us to find true lasting meaning in God alone. As you take a hard look at your life, as Solomon did his, you will see how important serving God is over all other options.

Life’s experiences are not always happy. But the world tells us to demand happiness, do all we can to attain it. Solomon, writing about his own life, discovered that his wealth, power, position, wives, and accomplishments did not make him happy.

True and lasting happiness only comes from pleasing God. God is the only one who knows what is really best for us. If your chasing after happiness, you will never find it. If you are seeking after God , you will find endless JOY!!! 🙌

Tip Of The Day- think about all the things that bring you TRUE JOY!!
